And do you buy it from a local supplier or do you buy someplace we could all go?

I'd find an attorney that routinely works with investors and has handled numerous evictions in the court where the eviction will be filed (which is probably Toledo Municipal Court).

I am sure you will get plenty of feedback from the contractors around here and other investors that have good contractors that they work with.I have been working with contractors for over 12 years as a Designer, Estimator, and a Supplier of all things interior and a few things exterior. 

I do realize that some people suffer from mental illness and cannot recover...there are numerous government programs that we have all funded for this (they are not effective). 

I have also listened to numerous webinars in the last year or so.

If your spouse is working even say a $40K a year job, 120-$150K household income gets you into numerous exclusive neighborhoods in Metro Detroit with little to no problem.Option two:Buy in the neighborhood you wish OUTSIDE the City and target areas to invest in Detroit or the surrounding suburbs.

Also I'd hire a local you trust as a go between for your subcontractors and suppliers.
