I'm no expert, but this is covered pretty clearly in the instructions for form 8810:Line 2.

The form instructions say your seller can "opt out" of the monthly withholding on an installment and file the gain on their annual tax return, So that's one option, but not one they'll necessarily go for.  

I have no doubt that when a student says "it was a great class" or "the teacher or mentor gave a lot of instruction" or where they may say "I learned a lot" I can believe that, that is an opinion that another can't really contradict, it's an opinion.
