If the units are identical then you live in 50% and 50% is rental.  

If you attempt to hide it and get found out, it's fraud and they will prosecute.You have two challenges;  financing and inventory. 

For example, several years ago I had one that was an insurance fraud investigator who had to travel for work. 

My offer certainly fit in that box as there was an identical bank owned property in worse shape listed at 99k around the corner.However, good fortune for me cause 10 days later homesearch told me the bank accepted my offer.

I would tell them you would like to replace the old lease with one that has identical money and time terms, but with my companies name and other terms. 

(Though somehow the house next door has a Zestimate of $377,547 for the identical model).

Would this not constitute fraud in how the property is represented to the loan company?
