Good afternoon all-I am setting up an LLC for an out of state property (ohio) and my accountant just informed me that I also have to set up an LLC in my home state of California to pay for  state, federal and gross income.Does anybody have experience with this?

Most people I spoke with today, my agent, his agents broker, title company, my mortage company, friends, everyone just keeps saying sue him (but what do they know about it, it's any easy thing to say, not an easy thing to do), so I contacted a few lawyers and was able to briefly explain, all agree I have a case, but I wasn't able to get into the nitty gritty about it yet, being Friday afternoon/going on evening and all.

Good afternoon bigger pockets I am looking for feedback our advice On a Financial strategy i'm looking at a 278 unit apartment building and also a second building with 363 units The financial strategy that I'm thinking of is finding private lenders to put up the down payment to get into the deal and then split the monthly profits with them until I can refinance the property to pay them their down payment back in full plus interest what is the pros and cons to this strategy?

Without seeing the home (though I hope to see it this afternoon), I estimate the place needs $30k-$40K I also know he bought the home just a month and a half ago for $45K.I can come with cash from a line of credit from my bank, but I'm looking for advice on how I might make an offer that reduces the amount I might pay using the LOC.

However, the mother and sister of this deadbeat (also my tenants) felt so ashamed about the way the deadbeat left the property, they spent all afternoon removing the trash and cleaning the place.
