So that lead me to the BP website and read some blogs about other ways of getting started which led me here. 

What led to our starting the LLC and beginning the process of investing in real estate stemmed from our disappointment with rates of return in conventional investments.  

The Vice President of 1st Bank Yuma Travis Hice was extremely helpful and made the transaction easy.Unfortunately, we used an inexperienced Title Officer at Pioneer Title which led to several miscalculations & numerous head aches.

That has led us to this deal, a $16.9 million acquisition.

That was the case in my county where collusion and other practices led the to the NC AG office stepping in.

I've always led a fairly frugal life and still do.  

The information I revived from those shows led me to take massive action and buy 4 rentals in two years at the age of 27.

That meeting led to other aspects later on, so I guess I could consider residual incomes, I'd need to get busy on a flow chart approach I guess, family tree, centers of influence, that type of stuff.

We've got a great group of local Denver investors that meet up each month, led by @Anson Young -- definitely sync up and start networking.

Same with Seattle sellers in the 80s... 08 was nationwide and catastrophic in all asset class's but resi has crashed before and history does repeat itself.. and yes there were many strategic foreclosures in certain markets.. led by AZ  NV  FLA  ... when you bought a home for 600k in vegas or PHX and its now selling for 300k... people walked..
