I have a great area for short term because we have vacationers, snow birds, business travelers, etc and stay busy year round.  

Our motivation is to buy condo's off the popular beaches, where tourist are investing, and lease, and/or rent out the condo to vacationers, or long term visits by corporate vendors.

Looking to attract summer vacationers for AIRBNB / VRBO rental.

The area I’m in is busting at the seams with vacationers and it looks like AirBnB is the best way to go.

If you are lucky enough to get busted there is high fines and if you cancel upcoming stays you could run into trouble with the vacationers, so I wouldnt risk it.

Do they do everything to finding vacationers to housekeeping to property maintenance/repair?

I would want to be able rent out the second home sometimes to short term vacationers but my genuine intentions is to use it as much as possible in winter and summer.

I think good communication would go a long way if I were the vacationer.

When a downturn happens businesses pay less for business conventions and travel ( go more to virtual meetings to cut costs) and the vacationers stay closer to home where they can drive to somewhere for 3 days to save money.I saw it happen in the last down cycle and hotels were crushed.
