I guess it comes with the territory.

Check references, code violations, awards, memberships, presence in the community, cleanliness of trucks and staff, BBB status, Yelp reviews, etc.

We actually reached out to a few "local" banks that have presence in the area and all of them either had a very short amortization period (10-15 yrs) or had a high personal guarantee threshold (60%+ of ownership) which would have resulted in asking my investors to personally guarantee the loan (big no for us). 

Does anyone know of any GC's with an online presence that are regularly posting content to their website? 

Not sure the territory that you cover but we are both on East Coast.

I was kind of a wreck the whole time, uncharted territory and the overwhelming impending feeling of loss can keep you up at night.

Even if he turns out to be the best tenant ever, his presence will limit your potential tenants for the other units.  

@Lori Sinclair  If you are from TX you may have heard of eXp Realty since they have a large presence there.
