One thing I wish I knew starting out was the true overhead of running a RE business it can be pricey if you don't run your numbers right.

Consider starting small by house hacking a single-family home, renting out rooms, or adding an ADU if possible.

I'd love to start my networking and also understand the tax complications of buying property while abroad.also FYI - my husband and I are looking to move to the USA at one point but most likely in 2026.

Some expenses, such as utilities, property taxes, and interest, incurred during this period may also be capitalized.

Well worth it and the best strategy to start in my opinion.
