I get your idea, I live in a small town too with very few multi-family properties and it's a great vision but you might have to start out with a partner who would give you the cash to do what you want to do.  

I'd also think about not just setting goals but create a vision board or something that will remind you everyday of what you're working towards. 

I personally like how it turned it; proud of my work I guess and seeing the vision come alive. 

Businesses have Customer Relations departments because they have a bigger vision of business than you do, not because the contracts they have with their clients are not enforceable. 

I've talked my clients out of deals because I knew they would be making a mistake and I've convinced my clients to pull the trigger on deals they dismissed because they didn't have the vision to see how it could be a great deal for them.

Lets say one bought in Brooklyn in the last 15 years and what that might have looked like for that "investor" with that vision today.Some will say oh thats just speculation....no shiat Sherlock and so is predicting the rent gets paid and you make $300 a month on that remote SFR.

Instead I settled for where I was at in life and became complacent because naturally I hate change or risks .now I have a new vision and realize no one is going to do this for me , I must create the life I want by willful actions not dreams .

I agree most people will want to see the project they might not see your vision in waiting another year.

What is struggle with most is the vision of being this lonely juggernaut, this year is the first time I’ve opened up sharing with others or letting anyone teach me or guide me
