Immerse yourself in podcasts and webinars, but always remember that no matter how easy they make it sound there are real risks in real estate.

Immerse yourself in the education here on the forums but also in books and podcasts.  

@Susan Sutherland I am immersing myself on the site and am just getting into using more of the tools.

@Riley- you have the right idea in terms of trying to do things for Cash Flow.Ironically- there is a function tomorrow @ the NY Hilton: www.nycrealestateexpo.com In general, you would have to immerse yourself in the RE community.

The best thing to do is to learn your market and immerse yourself in all aspects of the business locally.

My goal by getting immersed into this community is to breakthrough my hesitation, put my money where my mouth is, and start closing deals.

Also, podcasts.Kiyosaki's company has recently launched a smartphone and tablet app that's supposedly geared towards teaching in a 'Millennial' way.My biggest tip from experience: immerse him through different media, or else he'll only have interest peaking periodically.Nevertheless, easy & entertaining reads on marketing would be Guy Kawasaki, Gary Vaynerchuck, Tim Ferriss and Seth Godin.

I am a huge fan of immersion here.
