I have been looking at SFR and duplexes around town looking for deals, but I'm somewhat interested in broadening my search.

The lesson learned here was that I can broaden my scope to accomplish my goals.

We broadened our search last week into neighboring areas and found a duplex that looked interesting. 

The sponsors are considering amending the bill to simply mirror the language in the Cook County and Chicago ordinances, but we need to voice our strong objections, particularly with this broadened version of the legislation.This version of the bill would greatly expand the mandate in Chicago and Cook, and establish the broad mandate to the rest of Illinois.

Just like finding properties, you need to broaden your net as an LP and actively seek out different syndicators.  

Sold comps over the past 6 months in the immediate area; especially in the same zip code, will broaden your scope and assist in arriving at an more informed decision. 

For example, The definition of “Travel issue” was changed to not only broaden it, but make it more vague, and subjective.
