The way I looked at it was this - most guests have just a few reviews, usually less than 5....so your 1 star review will take their average down by a LOT.

I got lucky that my realtor just happened to be a rockstar and helped me negotiate a YES at $19k!

But as long as you have a rockstar team of realtor, PM, contractor lender, you can confidently invest anywhere! 

In fact on average we consistently support a dozen or so coastal STR investors annually acquire and launch five star AirBnB's. - Pacific Wonderland.

The VRBO guest left a 5-star rating, and on Airbnb, I have one 5-star rating with another on the way.However, I've noticed something that has raised some concerns, and I'm not sure if it's specific to VRBO or related to my listing.

For some reason sometimes it's hard to get clients to complete them, but if a mortgage broker has 20-30-40 five star reviews..safe to say your experience will be as expected.
