My biggest suggestion would be to find some local meetups (https://www.biggerpockets.com/forums/521-real-estate-events-...) and introduce yourself to the host. 

I want them to focus on hosts and the guest experience for the actual stay but they sometimes have shiny object syndrome.

There is a local meetup in Danbury hosted through Meetup that is a great group of people hosted by Joyce and Bob. 

I love hearing insight from hosts who have solved this common pain point.

As an Airbnb guest and host, I think that is too many automatic messages.

It's really disappointing to host dishonest people but it's an unfortunate reality you have to accept.

You'd think STR would cause more wear and tear, but the host has to keep it up in great condition to get 5 star reviews. 

Your open dates are late August, and many hosts across the nation see slow bookings when school starts.

For example, Brandon Turner was great as a podcast host that helped a lot of people and now seems like another slimy online guru who is better at promoting and fund raising than being a good operator.
