I don't watch the news...I watch the actual news conference.I read actual reports, and not interpretations.I realize that any economic impact on purchases, business, investments, etc...aren't based on an economic problem, they're based on a temporary medical problem.I firmly believe, the medical problem will be solved in a short enough period of time and will not have any long term major negative impact on the economy.I know that when the "hounds are released", any negatives that might have happened to the economy, will bounce back and head north faster than it went south because of a built up demand...and the fact that this problem wasn't ecomonically based in the first place.

Non-renewing does not involve the courts, so I don't know how it could be banned.On the other hand, you may want to be sensitive to the plight of residents these days and be prepared for a negative backlash if you are trying to remove a resident who has lost their job.

And, since expenses like taxes and insurance were unaffected, if you weren't getting $200+ in positive cash flow before the downturn, you were now in Negative Land and thus officially screwed.

The current seller is willing to seller finance, but I am concerned about holding it for a year due to negative cash flow and speculating it will still be worth more in a year.

Also if you do buy your own home, assuming her name would be on title, her debt will negatively impact you.
