@Spencer Nelson, As a millennial, of course i would say this: learn the ins & outs of social media marketing strategies (tik-tok, instagram, youtube) and get REALLY good at it.

Just call your credit card and have them add her as an authorized user making sure they use her social security number and date of birth.

It's so stressful to play the game but if you want to have any social life in CA you must!

It is also A LOT more work than my long-term rental, as I self-manage both and with Short-term rentals (especially popular ones) there is a lot of communication with possible guests, managing check-in/check-out dates, finding/hiring a cleaning and maintenance crew (especially difficult in a rural area), Social Media account (check us out on FB and Insta @twolakeslodgemi) and so on.

Facebook groups and other social media tools provide a good base to get under-the-radar contractors that might be searching a bit harder for work (and thus will be more motivated to give you a better deal via either time, money, or both).
