What's so funny is if you read the HUB ruling you find that all felons are to be given a mile wide variance EXCEPT if you were convicted of manufacture/distribution of drugs.

You have to check the installation manual for the furnace for this; there is a limit to how many elbows and how long of a pipe you can use.Some manufacturers have an outside vent cap (example:http://www.myhvacparts.com/store/media/products/ba... ) that has sort of a coarse screen or some bars over the pipe opening, but not so fine that they're likely to freeze.There is another style, called a "concentric vent", that has one pipe running inside the other, so you only need one hole in the wall.

Here is an example from our rental agreement.STORAGE.Tenant agrees to not store items outside the dwelling unit unless contained in a proper storage unit.Tenant agrees to not pile or lean items against the building siding and fences.Tenant agrees to not store flammable liquids on the premises unless they are in small quantity for personal use only, stored according to manufacturer instructions and properly labeled.Tenant agrees to not store items that are excessively odorous.Tenant agrees to keep doors to storage sheds closed.

Statutory Exemption from Fair Housing Act Liability for Exclusion Because of Illegal Manufacture or Distribution of a Controlled Substance Section 807(b)(4) of the Fair Housing Act provides that the Act does not prohibit “conduct against a person because such person has been convicted … of the illegal manufacture or distribution of a controlled substance as defined in section 102 of the Controlled Substances Act (21 U.S.C. 802).”37 Accordingly, a housing provider will not be liable under the Act for excluding individuals because they have been convicted of one or more of the specified drug crimes, regardless of any discriminatory effect that may result from such a policy.
