I may never see a dime but at least it sits on their credit and possibly stops them from damaging someone else in the future or keeps them from qualifying for a car loan, home loan, etc.I hope you've learned the following:1.

If you focus solely on the rate you may give up great future deals trying to hold on to your currently low rates. 

Also consider that 3x systems provides 3x possible future failure points so this impacts your operating costs as well. #2 - might be cost effective although the times I've gotten quotes on this approach, I wasn't too impressed with options for control within different spaces (for instance if you have a single room studio, sure - however if you have a 2 bedroom deal you need some separate feeds and that's not what these are designed for)..

I have been looking toward the future and needed to find a more passive income. 

While it may not apply in my scenario, it seems like it would be useful to know for the future.
