If you don't consider that a "failure" in terms of an investment, when you pay to lose money every month, I'm not sure what is.Owner occupancy is a different idea of course, because its also where you live.

You can't be there, and so you need to pay others for their time and knowledge, and from my experience at the end of the day no one you are paying, cares about your investment the way you do.
