I recently passed the CO real estate broker exam and I'm trying to decide what brokerage to join.

As a FL Mortgage Broker, Real Estate Investor and Landlord, my advice to investors who are opening new LLCs, is to consider include the word RENTAL(s) in the name of your LLC.Examples:Smith Rental Properties, LLCSunshine Rentals, LLC Reason why? 

All wholesaling is viewed as is unsophisticated & often illegal brokering of real estate. 

You can have your insurance broker check claims against a property, I believe.

Can tom a real estate broker make a commission on the sale of the home.

My broker has been patient and shown me around different neighborhoods.

May be hard to find a tenant for that big of a unit.Some tips I would have is to screen new tenants properly, start forming a team and networking with not only real estate professionals (attorneys, accountants, brokers, handymen), but also local residents by attending the community meetings.

But, keep in mind you'll still need to be liquid for closing costs: Lender Fee, Broker Fee (if applicable), Title, Insurance etc.Cheers!
