We have booked our plane tickets to visit Kansas City MO for a few days at the end of the month to see some sites, eat some BBQ, and meet some players in the KC real estate market.

But I've heard there are national players out there too.

I plan on becoming a major player in the RE world and want to help as many people along the way as I can.

For all the big players here in commercial, how did you start?

Im a fairly new player in the RE market.

If you want to get into wholesaling make sure to find out who the players are out in your area.

A bank will want to see that the players are bringing some experience to the table--it does not necessarily have to be you.Another consideration will be your exit strategies.

What I always hear is you need to have a team you can trust and that makes perfect sense, but trust is earned and how do I give all the different players I need to put together the opportunity to demonstrate that trust? 

I had a bad experience with a buy/hold long-term financing with Lima, but they are a big reputable player in this space.

On the RE side, your time is most likely best spent getting to know the local players that can help find you the deals rather than driving around town looking at everything.
