The IRS will not issue you a tax bill without explaining how they came up to their conclusion.The only thing I can think of is that a brokerage reported a tax form to the IRS that you did not provide to the tax accountant when the return was filed.The first thing to do is have someone explain to you what the IRS letter is saying.Best of luck
