You are in the business so I understand your bias but that doesn’t mean we as customer ignore the lack of any standard and transparency in how  contractors price their work.As for lock, yes if they were coming to do only lock I would expect to pay that much but as a part of bigger job it shouldn’t be marked up to this point.

This also is my bias opinion from experience, but the workers would rather chit chat and goof around than service the people of Philadelphia. 

I wish that no one would invest in passive real estate offerings before reading this book, but of course I’m biased...

Both genders are pretty equal offenders, though, in this tenant mischief.

That's a pretty bad argument with a lot of emotional bias if you think about it. 

Here we go again with Bigger Pockets's extensive white-collar bias and disinterest in the actual facts of life of the blue-collared.In the 2010s, successful American-born contractor-without-HS diploma is a non-starter, even a sideshow.

For what it's worth, I can't back that particular opinion up with numbers, just with bias from driving through.

General BP advice:  When you post these questions , you get a variety of responses , some just come here to bash you ,some to defend their profession ,  some want to help you , but they are too biased to provide a quality answer and finally some who genuinely have the intention to help you and provide practical suggestions ( they might be right or wrong but they have the best intention )Some don't realise the impact that they will have on a newbie - when they call you tire kicker , time waster , unreasonable ...
