I'm pretty set on Vancouver or Burnaby, I just really prefer urban living, and I love being by the ocean for lifestyle as well as health reasons (dry thin air doesn't do my skin or lungs any good).

I've had one that tried to claim Landlord was liable because someone climbed up on their open air balcony and stole a piece of furniture they had left.

Basically, the furnace was installed incorrectly in the boiler room and is taking air from the boiler room itself instead of the fresh air from the rest of the basement.

If this colleague works directly with you, there is risk involved, but so long as you have a meeting of the minds (Terms of the lease agreement, rules and regulations, and an understanding of what happens in the tenant relationship should not be brought to work), you should be ok.Cheers,Jordan

Besides the central air unit needing to be replaced at some point, the home is in pretty good condition...especially for the price in Houma, LA (notorious for expensive real estate) e.g. my home is a 2/2 @ 1100sf and appraises at $147k.But on the positive side, rentals don't stay on the market very long...most are taken within a week or two.
