or are you afraid of losing your money so you only want to put in half and vise versa. i found a huge difficulty in partnerships is that the work/effort is never truly 50% but in terms of money (profit, repair) its always 50% so gets a little grey something,   so its really important to figure that stuff out people will give you a lot more advice on partnership that people will give you but thats my 2 centsGoodluck man all the best in the future

@Shital Thakkar I don't mind investing in local market(Houston), But because of O&G industry I heard from few friends that they are finding difficulties renting their places for break even price.I am open to Houston market as well if options are better here.

Find out what kind of split they offer, what training is available, what technology tools they provide (web site, CRM, etc), and how much are their fees (E&O insurance, desk fees, etc).You can put together a resume, but many brokerages won't require one.
