I recently did 1/2 thick travertine in a small bathroom & regretted it as it did suffer hairline cracks regardless of the solid thick backerboard/cement base its just the nature of the stone & more likely the temperature extremes we had last winter.

. :-)The other agents I spoke of had an opportunity (and they were considered by others to be more seasoned in working with investors) to help me reach my goals and in turn receive repeat deals and still get their commission but chose to be all about themselves or in the case of one, just didn't have the experience as an agent and was fumbling.I've learned lot and by nature I soak up knowledge like a sponge.

Stephanie Bureau yes that is possible if you can find a tenant willing to risk the short term nature of the initial lease.One case where it might work is employment related rentals.

This has led me to search for other methods of heating and ways to projects costs back to the tenant and in doing so I have narrowed the selection down to either converting to natural gas or installing a ductless heating AND COOLING system or systems.
