We have seen our highly themed homes (we are talking bat caves with LED lighting, Aladdin rooms with "floating" magic carpet beds, etc.) book for literally twice the nightly rate of a home that simply has cute themed wallpaper and pillows.

And I need to go hunting for a Kaiser (medical facility) cause were taking her mother with us (you know they never warn you that when you leave tha house you just might end up with another older woman than your own mother)!

I have the unit rented now to a young woman who bar tends at a local restaurant and has a 5 year old daughter.

The ones who have been shut down (and their management arrested) were those who, sadly, cram four elderly in a bedroom, paid "nursing" personnel $10 a hour to monitor them and, in one sad case, gave an elderly woman in a wheelchair her shower by rolling her out into the back yard and spraying her down with the garden hose.If I were to consider renting a property to be used as an assisted living facility I would only do so if their contract was with a VA Medical Center. 

That is pretty much what the woman from the licensing office told me too.
