She lives outside of Charleston SC and wants something more local so that is why I started looking there and realized that there are many apartment buildings for sale in those states that look to be decent deals... at least much better deals than in NE. 

Hi everyone, I live in Pa, and I was wondering about starting up an LLC.

It's a safely issue for us, as we live in another unit in the house. 

Probably 2bdr.I already live in the area, so I'm reasonably familiar with the area.What areas on the Peninsula, South or East Bay you'd recommend for the appreciation?

@Chloe Hohmanunfortunately, since they have a mortgage, you won't be able to do seller finance.but let's step back.do you want to live in this townhouse? 

If she was a responsible adult and had a job it would be different but she prefers to live off her husband. 

This can be a tall order for many just getting started.Otherwise, one way to get around that is to buy a a new house that you will "house hack" where you live in one side, and rent out the other side.  

I love living in a cabin in the mountains as a vacation.
