Hotels being a odd animal a majority of crowdfunding portals stay away from them unless you have a very good track record of ownership or operation.  

If you find a lender who does online appraisals or creative structuring, you might be able to find a 2nd lender.

I've read some articles online about how LA is cracking down on landlords who boot rent control tenants out and convert their units into Airbnb rentals. 

You can post what you do in your profile (and we encourage you to do so) but the only other place you can talk about your company or the services you offer is in the Marketplace.We do this to keep the forums free from spam and junk that clogs up most other online forums.

@Caroline Hires Just a thought, from an online marketing perspective, I googled "how to invest 100k" and didn't see any top-of-page advertisers - you might bid on that keyword (or similar), create a short landing page making the case for why investing in real estate with you is a good idea, and how to contact you to chat at the local Starbucks.

I'm still very much learning and researching, and thinking maybe contracting out the majority of the work is a better plan.  

It's 20 years later, we've had a major housing recession, and I'm in the Southeast now (Alabama).

What I like about this deal is, the major cap ex's have been handled, and there is still meat on the bone to increase the cash flow by filling the vacancies.

I am also in need of experienced real estate investors who can coach me online about additional information i need to know also, but any help is welcome. 

Because we did the majority of the work ourselves, the total rehab budget wound up being around $30,000 (which includes adding a deck, fencing in the huge back yard, fixing the driveway and adding a paver front walkway.)
