Hi Jon, I know everyone is up in arms about gas but I’m currently switching my oil burning units(smaller properties) over to gas for fuel efficiency and because it’s the only way I can set up individually metered accounts and charge the utilities to my tenants after years of expensive heating costs that I have footed the bills for.

Greg S, I actually work out west in the oil fields, I have for the past 5 years.

Then prime the subfloor with an oil-based stain and odor blocker, like kilz or zinsser.

H's W-2 job is in oil and gas.

The price of oil is not going to plummet below $70/barrel in the next 5 years, so high demand for rental homes will remain strong.  

@Hal Wilkerson I was thinking of doing something like that for the oil fields, thank you for that tip. 

I have been very friendly and helpful, giving her tips on how to get rid of them (keep doors and windows closed, spray certain essential oils around, vacuum up the maggots, etc.)
