Good advice Ty and Mike thank you.I think a majority of people like to buy what they can afford when it comes to their home, and often buy a starter home and move on to a bigger home when they figure out there's a baby about to be on the way or they get a raise etc.  

S = SpecificM = MeasurableA = AchievableR = RelevantT = TimeSo for example, instead of saying "I want to be a Real Estate Investor" you would bring it down to the baby steps of what that means.

I have two kids (including a young baby) at home and just don't have time to learn/research this stuff right now...wish my tenants were moving out in a  year!  

So should i start out taking baby steps, or should I put on my big boy britches, get off the bench, and start playing ball with the big boys, so to speak?

YUP  consumer confidence  fake news and rates 1% higher than the all time low have caused sales to slow down.but baby making machine goes on.. still need homes for peeps to live in

After completing the Baby Steps by Dave Ramsey, my wife and I were ready to start investing.

Now, I have a "nanny" (handyman) looking after all my babies and I just check in to make sure they are performing at peak..

I know where the rents are higher and where they are lower and I could easily look up market rent if I found a fourplex.We don't have a problem with having jobs, per se, but I want to be able to be home with the baby, and my husband wants to be able to go and look at a property whenever we get a potential deal.
