I just purchased their base station and sensors and thats it...You don't need wifi or wired internet in the house at all as it uses Built-in cellular GSM technology...and yes once you are done with your house you can take it with you unless you want to give it to new owner as a selling point.

First of all, for the most part contractors aren't technology savvy for the most part.  

Either way, having seen what a super tight single fam situation is like, and having experienced first hand the difficulties of buying properties in locations you can't visit easily, I am moving into my current location (Chicago, IL).

Currently my financial situation requires prudence and meticulous planning because:  FICO score (solution is steady work over time to build credit by repaying old debt);Family needs me close (solution is care for my geriatric mother at reduced living expenses);Transportation (solution is this weekend I've saved enough for a down payment to finance a used car);Taxes (solution is to hire a CPA and consult with a real estate attorney to get my 2004-05 taxes satisfied);Experience In The Industry (solution was to attend full college courseload for a semester and major in Building Construction Technology - Construction Management.

With the technology you have today you can lead generate in so many ways.

Redfin, great technology company, awful real estate company.

I have also worked in the Finance field in aviation and software technology, but real estate has always been a joy and excitement for me.

I would like to use my agent if possible, but am having difficulty finding anything on the MLS.

We have all of the legal set up for Title III, but I don't anticipate implementing the technology needed ahead of other features until there is more track record to see if anyone can make it work.  

Each time I have made the jump to the newer technology, I have found that very shortly someone will come out with a better product with more features.
