Conventional lenders don't lend on places that aren't livable and need substantial rehab.Another alternative that I personally stumbled upon was to use smaller local banks that keep their loans in house. 

Not to say it is quick or easy - but if I'm networking and analyzing and offering at high volumes, I'm bound to "stumble" on something eventually.

I stumbled on to their podcast while searching for real estate investing.

I stumbled up on this website while doing my research and since then haven’t done anything else but browse this site.

So it was back to goggle searches and I stumbled across Brandon Turner’s article from BiggerPockets on getting started and he has a book called “The Ultimate Beginner Guide to Real Estate Investing”, which I started reading.

I am very new to REI and luckily stumbled upon BP and this community only recently!

Maybe someone like me will stumble upon this one day and understand a bit more.Hope this helps,Cruize

I stumbled across their podcast last week just trying to find something interesting to listen to about real estate.

I first became interested in real estate this may when I stumbled upon some of the great real estate investing podcasts out there.
