Anything else is speculation.

But all these macro-economic factors are hard to predict and I would rather invest in a known thing like RE than speculate on global inflation and global gold consumption.

My mobile office that will allow me to do investing when I visit with a patient in their home because  I can also speculate on property in that area (50-mile radius).

Buying homes near a proposed Wegmans site may be a good speculative plan, but I call that -speculation-, not -investment-.

That's just pure speculation I tells ya!

The Problems:Flipping relies upon market condition, there is a great deal of speculation, market cycles based upon macroeconomic trends and timing can have huge effects upon the success or failure of the strategy. 

(BTW, I know some people talk about how if it's 1-4 residential, valuation should be based just on sold comps, but I do like running #s on even 1-4 residential when you're looking to hold because it provides a more precise way of seeing how a property can make money today, without speculating, which is what I feel comps are at times.)

I would make sure whoever comes out runs a camera so you can actually identify the problem rather than continue to speculate.

This is the lowest priced house on the market and the agent expects to receive multiple bids on it.Last December, I saw a SFH in San Mateo in a little better area, 2000 sf, 850 k and stayed on the market for over 4 weeks.In my view, mid peninsula market will see a record high in 2017, contrary to a lot of speculation that it will decrease.

I would hope that these two industries continue to pave the way and help fuel regional growth, but I don’t really like to speculate too much.
