I came across an opportunity to purchase a property that I am leasing for office space. 

I believe that may come in the form of commercial office space.

Also, based on the apartments I'm familiar with, the storage spaces are usually small. 

I am looking forward to the benefits REI can bring such as the flexibility and financial freedom in a space where I can contribute and be of service to others!

A landlord may end up needing to put in $2 per square foot of leased space in improvements to get a space leased.

You could easily get all lower end SS appliances at you local Sears Outlet for around $1500 to $2000 (fridge, dishwasher,stove) The counter space is small.  

While this is a retail price essentially I would be marketing to the same multifamily developers to purchase the property for additional parking space or additional units.

This isn't my plan.... but if you were to quit your corporate job and wanted to pick a real job in the RE space while building your knowledge base and looking for deals/building your network, which job would you recommend and why(agent, appraiser, mortgage broker, construction, other?)
