Always caution.We all desire accelarated learning from a coach BUT  "success tax" has to be paid one way or the other(time, money, effort etc).To date i have read 735 books,not all real estate but NO DEALS YET.Would a live coach have shortened the time on learning curve to my first property deal?

I think my book would be helpful and if you order it from BiggerPockets directly, you will get some fun bonus material, including a detailed case study.My friend AJ Osborne also wrote a great book on self-storage that you can get on Amazon.If you get serious about self-storage, I highly recommend joining a coaching program.

In another thread REI Coach said that double closings send the risk of the deal through the roof.

(not a get rich quick Guru, more of a get rich eventually once you renew your mind with the right knowledge consultant) My suggestion is to take one of his courses, then take his Protege 1 on 1 coaching program. ( he says he will even do deals for you if you you want)I know he has some negative reviews, but the way I see them is that you can’t please everyone no matter how good your actions and intentions are.

If you want to go it alone find a brokerage that has good branding and invest in a coaching program.
