Also if it is a planned development or HOA community you can also find out lots of information from the formal planners including civil engineers who helped plan the community who have further details including original documents that the county or town may not haveAlso, government offices such as DEHEC, US Army Corps and DNR are all valuable resources if you ever have any issues that relate to wetlands and they will conduct an investigation for free if it is required and you submit a request.

I did some searching online, but I can't seem to get 100% clarity on this, does anyone know if there is a government regulated standard efficiency rating for new furnaces in Illinois (i.e. 80% / 90%)?

@Nicole Frawley You and your property have to qualify to be a Section 8 Landlord.You can't NOT take section 8 tenants unless you apply and get qualified.I have 2 section 8 tenants and I love the program.The government pays their section of the rent via direct deposit.Turnover is non existent for meThey pay 110% of market rents.

It is too easy to make tax liens sound good and risk free but they are by no means risk free or "Government Guaranteed" etc. as many sites claim.

Interesting, self employed people have the most sense of identity from their job of people not working in government or Non-profit: So maybe the push to get out of the cube is more about agency and meaning than we give it credit for..
