There are other remedies that may be more fitting, less expensive and quicker for you, depending on the situation that lead to a tenant's non-compliance with your lease agreement.I too have never heard of a landlord charging a tenant for sending a compliance letter.

She'll make it seem like you are trying to shake her down for some extra cash.Make sure you have well documented evidence of what you spent to remediate or cover the portion of the work she didn't complete properly.
