When I worked with seriously cruel and abusive parents (I am also a psychologist), the first thing I took off the table was TRUST.

A lot of investors prefer to have a feature called "checkbook control" meaning you can write a check for a given investment rather than submit an investment direction letter to a custodian holding the funds and wait for them to approve and carry out the investment (or deny it and decline to carry it out).

I applied for a HELOC at my bank and was denied due to my owning the home less than 6 months.

Don't forget to send an Adverse Action Notice to anyone you deny or conditionally approve.

CONCLUSION For the foregoing reasons,1)  Plaintiffs’ Motion for Partial Summary Judgment (Doc. 26) is  GRANTED. 2) Defendants’ Motion for Summary Judgment (Doc. 20) is DENIED with respect to Plaintiffs’ Fourth Amendment and unjust enrichment claims. 3) Defendants’ Motion is GRANTED with respect to Plaintiffs’ Equal Protection claim and individual capacity claims against Defendants Smith and Gedeon.
