@Danielle Thompson, yes there devices that can be either cut into the lines or attached to the pipes that will measure the amount of water flowing through each pipe.

The white kitchen thing was big about 10 years ago or more in SoCal, then white/black, then it went to gray.....White is kind of timeless though and always a good choice...
