No furniture, etc so the owner's relatives probably cleaned up the place.  

This is a joke.All year long I have seen homes emptied of furniture.

I rent to students and I have some recommendations:1) Sometimes people/roommates don't get along... make sure they sign a "roommate agreement" which covers guests, noise, furniture, appliances, maintenance (if applicable) etc. 2) Sometimes people want to move out while the others don't.. make sure they are ALL on ONE lease.

You’ll probably also have to buy some furniture, linens, pots and pans, decor, etc.
