I feel like there's a lot of value in just getting started period, and if I don't act now, home prices will continue to rise, and the only thing I'll gain is becoming an expert at using the bigger pockets rental property calculator.Curious if others have input, have maybe been in the same boat, and how they've reacted to scenarios like this.

Here’s some ideas I’ve had:-converting the barn into storage units and/or boat and RV storage (we live about 25 minutes from a lake)-renting our house out on Airbnb and Vrbo and staying in the apartment while it’s occupied - growing cash crops- raising sheep What could be possible uses of our property that could generate some cash flow?

I am on the same boat, househacking, currently own two, I househacked both, one in Denver Co and another one in Springfield Virginia.I think one househack a year might not be realistic with current rates and prices in our area.

About 1/4 of the property is a fenced gravel lot with security cameras and another 1/4 of the property is retention pond.My initial idea was to use the extra lot space for RV/boat parking or storage pods.

I can already picture the instagram pics guests will post with whatever words they think are funny or cool or whatever on this giant scrabble board.Now I don't think that this scrabble board itself will be such a revenue increaser, but it is one of many amenities that I put in this cabin to build that entire fun package for the family.So I am definitely in the boat of adding that unique factor to each of my properties if I am able.

After reading the House Hacking Strategy, I’m looking to make the plunge into my first house hack.I’ve been searching Lakewood, Ohio City, Shaker, and Cleveland Heights since March 2022 and have come up short on a couple offers.I’m likely in the FHA loan boat and willing to do informational only inspections (not entirely waive them).Any tips / advise for putting forth compelling offers in this low inventory environment?
