Would-be real estate folks often fail to start where they are and think that they can build an empire when they have never really made a decision.I started when first out of college but didn't have enough confidence that I could make a living to generate cash flow and pay my bills.

Hopefully there is someone or a group out in the Inland empire or Los Angeles areas I can connect with and just talk through the real estate ventures.Thanks and hope everyone is having an amazing Sunday.Darren

How many cities can you think of that is cheaper a block or two from the bay than 5 miles inland?  

Something tells me you'll enjoy working for yourself and building an empire a lot more.

A w-2 job is a side hustle but a temporary one while you get your real estate empire built. 

's concerns about self storage - I'm 28 and don't feel confident investing in that asset unless the value-in-land is significant.

Not at the beach, more likely about 30-40 minutes inland.

This gave me a bit of experience in Land Lording, property management, and tenant screening.
