I had a doctor's appointment to go to with my wife (we're having a baby Monday and this was her last appointment before that and we had some questions) and a pre-op for her at the hospital this morning, so I told him that I'd be able to look at the house today after we got done this morning.

I have it secured in the basement of my home until we are finished and I take a load to the scrap yard.My son gets to claim and redeem the scrap metal we pull from the properties - it's a tradition that goes back to my youth when the ones in the family too young to work in the family business (fishing) got the scrap metal ... my baby sister once lucked out when we got fouled and broke a blade off a 500# brass propeller and the wheel had to be scrapped.My soon is planning on a new bicycle in the spring :-)
