You want contemporary records that substantiate these types of things, you don't want to be "remembering" them at the time of the audit.Contemporary Records means records that are prepared or generated at the same time, or immediately after, the event.I send myself an email with the details so I have some documentation with a time stamp on it, but there are no hard and fast rules about how you have to document.

Sheri,I would handwrite a personal letter on personal stationary with a matching envelope and pretty stamp since it's a few select properties. 

Because once Inflation get ahold of an economy, it is hard as hell to stamp out.

He also does not write well and farms his stuff out to other authors and then just puts his brand's stamp on it.

@natelya gUnderstand the transfer taxes, or stamps, that states/counties charge on sales, as you will be paying both sides. 

You must also pay for advertising, wear and tear on your car driving for dollars, gas money, business cards, website, stamps for 500 letters/postcards per week, etc.
