Maybe if rates drop a bit and the market improves they can either try to refi again to pay us back or original investment or try selling later down the line. totally regret doing real estate at all - this is out of my expertise and I’m paying the price

Partner 2, providing repair and renovation skills, can be compensated either through being paid for their work or through a similar equity split, around 20-30%, while still reflecting the value of their expertise and labor.Partner 3, who brings the capital, usually covers down payments and renovation costs, which justifies them receiving a larger share of the profits, often in the range of 40-50%.

I guess what I am saying is don't let a few thousand dollars at the front of the deal get in the way of the reward you will reap at the end of the deal. 

Some investors do both, using their real estate holdings to fund business acquisitions or vice versa.Ultimately, it’s about aligning the strategy with your expertise, risk tolerance, and lifestyle goals.

Self managing takes a little effort and some time, but reward far outweighs the effort for us. 

Being part of the first mover comes with its risks and rewards.

They all carry their own risks and rewards.  

Relationships are key, but with little exception, loyalty is not rewarded in this industry.
