You’ll find plenty of friendly, knowledgeable people willing to respond to your posts.

Provide a nice place to live, where you show pride of ownership and they will typically respond with taking care of your place.But also, being selective in who you rent to.  

Now they’ve said they are holding for an Indefinite amount of time and since then they’ve stopped responding to me and email once or twice a year with corporate speak that says nothing useful.

I get it, you are trying to be nice and expect them to respond in kind, but the reality is the nicer you are the more they feel empowered.

Their technical support does well at responding to any issues.

Having a company that responds quickly and does fairly priced work is valuable.You definitely gave me a lot of good points here to think about when it comes to vetting out these price quotes and making sure I get good value, so thanks!

So I got me an email from VRBO talking about their new response time rules around "critical information"https://help.vrbo.com/articles/About-the-Vrbo-Host-Communica...Essentially it make sure you respond in what they think is a timely manner. 3 days before arrival with all check in info etc.

They've mentioned they have asthma and allergies and that's why they're upset about have to live in a place that's being repaired, so I've offered to both hold off on the repairs and reduce rent to make up for the condition of the property, I've offered to have a contractor just rough in the drywall so that the studs aren't visible and to encapsulate everything, even though everything in the cavity was removed during the remediation, but they now aren't responding to my texts whatsoever.
