Hey Everyone,I'm looking to build some radiator covers out of wood with a metal grate on the front.

Disclosure: I mainly have commercial office/retail so I don’t know what I’m talking about.1920s house probably heats via radiators and doesn’t have AC.

I want to replace the ugly ancient cast iron radiators with modern flat wall mounted units. 

Nothing worth stealing (copper, radiators, etc) Many lower income good rentals, and the price make them more than worth the hassle, just make sure you're prepared for it.

If it's on radiators leave them alone as the cost to convert is way too high. 

Your likely to find either forced hot air or steam/hotwater radiators.

Just read some article stating that it may contain radiation?
