Different lenders can view income in various ways depending on who you speak with.

The capital loss would be calculated as the difference between your original investment amount and the amount you received back (in this case, 10% of your principal).

After meeting with a number (like 8) different contractors the quotes i got back made the deal, not a deal (i think). 

Inherently the steps are the same as if you were purchasing with financing save potentially less closing costs and ability to close sooner (if needed).The terms of your offer (ie -contingencies, closing cost splits etc) will determine what is different. 

I think it comes down to two main questions:1.

I come from Europe too, and I know it can be overwhelming when you look at the real estate market in a new country and with completely different building technics ( sticks instead of bricks), but is not as bad when you have the right team in place. 

It looks a lot like the "baseball" that was the market in the 80's but still it's also very different. 

Since you have built a lot of them, could you spare 15 min to share your perspective on the main pain points of land discovery?

If its someone you know vs someone you do not it will be different.

I’m still learning myself, but I’ve found that connecting with other investors and figuring out which areas of the market to focus on (like distressed properties or foreclosures) can make all the difference.Are you currently looking to jump back into investing, or are you exploring different strategies at this point?
