My agent was upset at me for going over his head and told me it is inappropriate to talk to the selling parties.I think that had we used the correct purchase contract in the beginning though, with the clause that requires the seller to produce the records in question, all this drama would have been avoided.

So basically it would result in the same tax plus the cost of doing an inappropriate 1031.Have LLC A do the 1031 and keep enough boot to pay the taxes and buy out the member's interest.  

Don't get me wrong, I embrace the constructive criticism because it helps us grow and improve, however, to call us "scammers" is extremely inappropriate and unprofessional.

@Tiffany Drahonovsky making a comment about your car is just inappropriate and gives you an insight in her believe system, which is you should pay for her housing, because you can aford it.While I am all for flexibility and working together to find a solution, especially with CV, you probably should start looking for a new tenant.
