Most major cities in America have a "liberal" or Democratic mayor or council.

Russia is Russia they are not a true democratic nation.

It will be decades before any democratic society can flourish there.

Democrats pretty much forced him into raising taxes and this of course pissed off the Republicans which then beat him to death on spending cuts that he proposed.

Dayton’s mayor is the Democratic nominee for Governor this fall and been bringing very aggressive policies for tenant protections to that city.

I don't personally see the Republicans suddenly agreeing with the Democrats just because of Obama.

Heck, they even bring Democrats on!
